Security at Saylix

A factual description of how Saylix handles accounts, access and request data today. We do not hold formal certifications such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001, and we do not claim any.

Authentication

Accounts are created with an email address and a password of at least 8 characters, or with Google sign-in. Sessions are managed by our authentication provider; password reset and email change are confirmed by email.

Access controls

Content belongs to a Saylix Space. Membership determines access: Space owners and admins manage members, shared page templates and branding, while members work on the forms they own or have been granted edit access to. These rules are enforced at the database level, not only in the interface.

ClickUp authorization

Saylix connects to ClickUp using credentials you provide for your own ClickUp Workspace, and uses them only to read the ClickUp Spaces, Folders, Lists and custom fields you select, and to create tasks and attach briefs on submission. You can disconnect at any time.

Encryption

All traffic between browsers, Saylix and ClickUp is served over HTTPS/TLS. Stored data sits with our hosting and database providers and is encrypted at rest by those providers.

File handling

Files uploaded through a published form are stored in access-controlled storage scoped to the owning Saylix Space, and are attached to the ClickUp task created for that submission.

Data retention and deletion

Submissions and forms are retained while your Space is active. Deleted forms move to a recycle bin for 30 days before permanent removal. You can delete your data from within the product or by contacting us.

Hosting and subprocessors

Saylix runs on managed cloud infrastructure and uses a managed database, storage and email provider to operate the service. These providers process data only on our instructions. ClickUp receives the submission content you configure it to receive.

Incident handling

If we become aware of a security incident affecting your data, we will investigate, take corrective action and notify affected Space owners by email.
